The range is called Small But Perfectly Formed and is aimed at capitalizing on the trend for more sustainable packaging
The initial line up comprises a Malbec from Mendoza, Argentina; a Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough, New Zealand, and a White Zinfandel from California, USA. All the wines are made by long-term Bibendum suppliers and canned in the UK.
Andrew Shaw, buying director for Bibendum said: ‘With sales of wines in a can showing no signs of slowing down, along with their undeniable sustainable credentials, we were determined to launch our own range.
‘We did not want this to be just another supplier providing a canned version of their label but a brand that would really resonate with consumers. Our suppliers worked closely with our technical team, led by Carmel Kilcline MW, to create wines that are truly fruit-forward and refreshing.’
