If you need a sign that summer is near, a new boozy seltzer flavor is a good indication we’re almost there.
White Claw will debut its new flavor, Pure, on April 1. The popular hard seltzer creator is taking a different approach this time, launching Pure as an alternative to a Vodka Soda. That means it’s not as much a new flavor as a simple combination of sparkling water and alcohol with a “clean and crisp” taste.
The new seltzer will undoubtedly appeal to the health-conscious crowd, as each 12-ounce can contains just 100 calories and no carbs or sugar. Like White Claw’s other flavors—mango, black cherry and ruby grapefruit—each can is 5 percent ABV and can be purchased as a six-pack, 12-pack and single 19.2-ounce can.
“While many other hard seltzer brands continue to release more complicated flavors, we know consumers love the clean, refreshing taste of White Claw and identified an opportunity to launch a hard seltzer in its simplest form with White Claw Pure hard seltzer,” said Sanjiv Gajiwala, the senior vice president of marketing at White Claw Seltzer Works, in a statement.
The product is being marketed as limited-edition, so you better go get your hands on this before it sells out.
