Low-abv Brewery Big Drop Launches Two Summer Specials

Poolside and Kodama (both 0.5% abv) are two hop-forward limited-edition beers

Poolside is a double dry-hopped and gluten-free IPA, which fuses ‘tropical flavors to recreate the intensity of a double IPA’. According to the brewery, the blend of hops lends aromas of pineapple, citrus, pine, mango and stone fruit.

Meanwhile, Kodama is a gluten-free India pale lager ‘with a distinctive malt foundation’ from the use of German specialty malts. Orange and gooseberry aromas derive instead from the use of Sorachi Ace and Nelson Sauvin hops.

‘We wanted to brew something special this summer for all those having to stay at home,’ said Rob Fink, co-founder and CEO of Big Drop, ‘so we’ve brought a bit of tropical and oriental inspiration into the new beers. We hope they will transport you away and join us in dreaming of better times ahead.’
