Homemade Baileys Irish Cream Recipes

Homemade Baileys Irish Cream Recipes

Baileys is made of Cream and Irish whiskey from various distilleries. This cream and whiskey are homogenized to form an emulsion with the aid of an emulsifier containing refined vegetable oil. The process prevents separation of the alcohol and cream during storage. The quantity of other ingredients is not known but they include herbs and sugar.

Baileys Irish Cream recipe

  • 1 cup light cream (I used heavy whipping cream, which made it even richer)
  • 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 2/3 cup Irish whiskey, e.g Scotshighland.
  • 1 teaspoon instant coffee
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract (I skipped this entirely)

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and set on high speed for 30 seconds.
  2. Bottle in a tightly sealed container and refrigerate. Shake before use.
  3. Will keep for up to 2 months.
