The east London-based pre-batched cocktail company has launched the first of three summer serves.
Made using East London Liquor Company’s London Dry Gin, Campari, Vittore Spanish Vermouth (as well as being diluted to match the result of it being stirred down) each bottle (500ml) contains five serves and is also available in the keg (20l).
‘We have been really happy with the feedback from our first bottle release and we are excited to add the Black Lines Negroni to our ready-to-serve range,’ said Black Lines co-founder Kuleen Khimasia. ‘It provides drinkers and hospitality businesses with a convenient way of serving a perfectly balanced Negroni, anytime, anywhere, without having to compromise on quality.’
Imbibe enjoyed the drink’s vermouth-forward character, with herbaceous notes coming through strongly on the palate. The balance of sweetness and bitterness was also spot on – the dilution also makes this an even more efficient solution for bars hoping to get it in on keg. For those looking to stock the bottle, the artwork by Bristol-based Jamie Muck is certainly a strong selling point.
Black Lines hopes that ‘this release will grant hospitality businesses the opportunity to cash in on the Negroni’s popularity in a convenient, waste-efficient manner and bring added convenience for discerning drinkers throughout the summer whether it be drinking at home, in the park, at events or small socially distanced gatherings’.
The Black Lines Negroni is now available.
