Saint-Lucia’s rum brand Admiral Rodney has unveiled the first expression in its limited-edition series Officer’s Releases.
Officer’s Releases No. 1 has been distilled in Coffey stills, then aged for 13 years in ex-bourbon barrels, and finished in ex-Port barrels for nine months before bottling.
The rum has been launched exclusively through The Whisky Exchange.
All purchasers of Admiral Rodney Officer’s Releases No. 1 will be given the opportunity to enter a prize draw to win the full range of the now-discontinued 1931 rum range, the brand’s flagship bottling.
The one-to-six editions of the 1931 range are now out of production and therefore highly collectible.
The winner will be chosen from the entrants at the end of June and will receive a bottle of each of the seven existing editions of 1931.
